Chrislyn Maher
Chrislyn is the founder and principal consultant of Palmetto House, bringing over 16 years of experience in marketing, communications, and public relations. With a track record of leading successful campaigns, managing brand reputations, and driving high-level communication strategies, she helps businesses and organizations tell their story with clarity and impact.
With experience at Louisiana icons like Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System and Tiger Athletic Foundation, Chrislyn has spearheaded everything from multi-million-dollar partnerships to grassroots campaigns—helping Louisiana-based organizations reach their full potential.
Beyond her consulting work, Chrislyn is deeply invested in her community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Manship Theatre and on the host committee for Furball benefiting Companion Animal Alliance. She previously served in key leadership positions on the Executive Management team and Board of Directors for the Junior League of Baton Rouge and is passionate about fundraising and volunteerism. She was recognized as a 2021 Forty Under 40 honoree by the Baton Rouge Business Report and was part of the 2020 cohort of Leadership Baton Rouge.
At Palmetto House, Chrislyn combines her corporate expertise with a boutique, hands-on approach—helping clients sharpen their message, strengthen their presence, and achieve their strategic goals.
Chrislyn and her husband, Adam, live in Baton Rouge with their two Olde English Bulldogges, Miss Ellie and Andouille. They enjoy traveling and experiencing new places, but they are always proud to call Baton Rouge home.
